For at gemme normale driftstimer skal du gemme et antal poster, der indeholder:
- Butik – INTEGER
- Ugedag – HELTAL (0-6)
- OpenTime – TID
- CloseTime – TIME
Jeg antager for eksempel, at hver butik har reduceret åbningstid under nationale helligdage eller har fabrikslukninger, så du skal også gemme nogle tilsidesættelsesposter:
- Butik – INTEGER
- Tilsidesæt startdato - DATO
- Tilsidesæt Slutdato - DATO
- Ugedag – HELTAL (0-6)
- AltOpenTime – TID
- AltCloseTime – TID
- Lukket - HELTAL (0, 1)
At finde åbne butikker er trivielt, men du skal også tjekke om der er tilsidesættelsestider:

Hvis der er nogen poster returneret, har disse butikker andre åbningstider eller er lukket.
Der kan være nogle gode SQL-fu du kan lave her, men dette giver dig det grundlæggende.

Med hensyn til effektivitet er det effektivt i den forstand, at du kun skal foretage et opkald til MySQL, hvilket ofte er en flaskehals, hvis det er på tværs af et netværk. Du bliver nødt til at teste og se, om dette fungerer efter dine specifikationer. Hvis ikke, skal du muligvis spille med nogle indekser.
