PSI mener, at en smalldatetime er god nok. Du kan beslutte anderledes.
Kan du ikke gøre dette i "påvirkningsmomentet"?
I SQL Server er dette almindeligt:
Update dbo.MyTable
Set
ColA = @SomeValue ,
UpdateDS = CURRENT_TIMESTAMP
Where...........
SQL Server har en "tidsstempel" datatype.
Men det er måske ikke, hvad du tror.

At matche på "Navn"-værdien er sandsynligvis ikke klogt.
