SQL Server CTE venstre ydre joinforbindelse

Hvis det er ukendt, hvor mange niveauer der er i hierarkiet?

Så sker en sådan udfordring ofte via en rekursiv CTE.

Resultat:

Btw, den rekursive CTE bruger OUTER APPLY, fordi MS SQL Server ikke tillader, at en LEFT OUTER JOIN bruges der.

Og hvis det er sikkert, at der er maksimalt 1 niveaus dybde for upid med et budget?
Så ville bare en simpel venstre joins og en sammensmeltning gøre det.

For eksempel:
